Gas Supervisor
35 hours per week
Manchester

£31.50 Umbrella OR £23.80 PAYE + holiday
Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a Social Housing provider that is looking for a Gas Supervisor to oversee gas compliance for servicing and breakdowns, and ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with current legislation.
A van and fuel card is provided.
Responsibilities of the Gas Supervisor- Supported a team of 12 gas engineers (servicing and breakdown)
- Acting as the nominated Qualified Supervisor for the organisation's Gas Safe registration
- Ensuring all gas works are carried out in accordance with the Gas Safety Regulations
- Approving certificates
- Carrying out technical audits and post-inspections of engineers' work
- Investigating technical failures, incidents and non-compliance issue
- Providing technical guidance and support to gas engineers
- Ensuring engineers are working within their scope of competence and hold up to-date ACS qualification
- Maintaining accurate compliance records and documentation
- Supporting the development and review of gas safety policies and procedures
- Working closely with Compliance and Property Services teams to ensure statutory targets are met
- Reporting on gas compliance performance to senior management
- Current ACS gas qualifications (relevant domestic competencies)
- Previous experience working within social housing or a landlord compliance environment
- Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience carrying out technical audits and inspections
- Full UK driving licence
