Dual Registered Manager – Children's Residential Care
Location:
Swinton & Crumpsall, Manchester
Salary:
Up to £80,000
Hours:
Full Time | Monday-Friday | 9am-5pm
Bright Path Care is seeking an exceptional Dual Registered Manager to oversee two therapeutic 2-bed children's homes located just 11 minutes apart in Manchester.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced residential childcare leader to take responsibility for two small, nurturing services where the focus is on therapeutic care, stability and positive outcomes for children.
As Dual Registered Manager, you will hold regulatory responsibility for both homes, ensuring high-quality care, robust safeguarding practices and full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across both homes.
• Maintain strong Ofsted compliance and inspection readiness.
• Lead safeguarding investigations, risk management and multi-agency working.
• Recruit, develop and retain high-performing teams.
• Deliver supervision, appraisals and reflective practice sessions.
• Oversee care planning, placement management and regulatory documentation.
• Drive positive outcomes for children through therapeutic, trauma-informed practice.
• Complete audits, quality assurance processes and action plans.
• Manage budgets, resources and workforce planning.
• Report directly to the Responsible Individual.
Requirements
• Previous Registered Manager experience within children's residential care.
• Strong understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple services and maintain high standards.
