* We’re Hiring:
Registered Homes Manager – Children’s Residential Service
* * Whalley Range, Manchester
* * 2 bed home | Flexible provision (LD /EBD)
* * Salary: up to £60,000 per annum DOE
* We’re excited to be recruiting a
* Registered Homes Manager
* to lead a 2-bed children’s home as part of an organisation undergoing an exciting
* rebrand and period of growth*.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manager from either a
* Learning Disabilities (LD)
* or
* Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
* background. The service offers flexibility in its model, allowing us to tailor provision to the needs of the children—so we’re looking for a versatile, forward-thinking leader who can adapt and shape the service.
* About the role:
* You will take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home, creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children aged 8–17.
You’ll play a key role in
* driving standards, embedding a positive culture, and shaping the future direction of the service
* during an exciting transformation period.
* Key responsibilities:
* * Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
* Ensure compliance with regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
* Create a child-centred, therapeutic, and outcomes-focused environment
* Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing staff team
* Manage budgets, rotas, and overall service performance
* Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and stakeholders
* About you:
* * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential childcare
* Experience with in
* LD and/or EBD settings
* * Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices
* A confident leader with a passion for achieving the best outcomes for children
* Full UK driving licence
