Client Operations Manager – Global Collateral Operations
Location:
Manchester, UK.

- Risk and control oversight – maintain a strong control environment, promote accountability, and ensure adherence to regulatory and policy requirements.
- Strategic execution – translate business priorities into clear team objectives, plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Cross‑functional collaboration – partner effectively across functions, regions, and stakeholders to solve problems and deliver shared goals.
- Change leadership – lead teams through transformation, innovation, and evolving business needs with clarity and resilience.
- Culture and inclusion – foster an inclusive, accountable, and collaborative environment aligned with BNY’s principles and values.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive work experience preferred.
- Strong AI and digital tools capability; light coding experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of collateral management processes, including margining, dispute resolution, settlements, substitutions, and exposure monitoring.
- Solid understanding of financial products, market infrastructure, and the operational lifecycle supporting collateral activity.
- Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and build a high‑performing, accountable, and collaborative culture.
- Strong risk and control mindset, with experience ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining a robust operational environment.
- Demonstrated client focus, with the ability to manage relationships, resolve escalations, and enhance service delivery.
- Ability to drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and change initiatives across a global model.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, and Client Services.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and influence outcomes.
