Assessment Coordinator

Responsibilities

• To coordinate the delivery of teaching and learning assessment activities, and manage the work of the team across the assessments team. The assessments team are primarily responsible for: assessments, external examiners, servicing examination boards, and student complaints and appeals.
• To support colleagues to embed locally and University‑wide a culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, placing the student experience at the heart of what we do, with support for an Operations team working flexibly across organisational boundaries.
• To support senior colleagues in the delivery of strategic and operational management across the programmes/team and enhancement of the student experience.
• A flexible, adaptable and proactive approach is vital given the blended/distance learning nature of the programmes that are delivered and the difficulties that can arise as a result.
