We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Case Lead / Manager with proven expertise in the HM Treasury ‘Green Book’ to join our growing Defence North team.

In this role, you will support clients in the delivery of industry-leading Business Case management services across a diverse portfolio of major programmes and projects within the Defence, Nuclear, Construction and Infrastructure sectors
. Our projects span the North of the UK, including the Midlands, Cumbria, the North East and Scotland, with opportunities to support programmes across the wider UK.

The team is made up of over 70 people with our central office in Manchester; however, we have team members based all over the North of the UK such as Nottingham, Leeds, Barrow, and Glasgow.

Due to the complexity and scale of our projects, we are seeking Business Case authors and professionals with demonstrable experience of working within project and programme delivery environments and a strong background in the Green Book five-case model
.

Experience with in the Defence, Nuclear, Infrastructure or Construction sectors is highly desirable.

A key aspect of this role is the opportunity to work alongside our clients on site, fostering strong partnerships and delivering successful outcomes through face-to-face collaboration. As such, regular UK travel and overnight stays should be anticipated.

We are seeking an experienced Business Case Author / Lead with strong MOD and HM Treasury expertise to support the delivery of major projects and programmes across the Defence, Nuclear, Infrastructure and Construction sectors.

As part of our Defence North team, you will work closely with clients, major programmes and project delivery teams to generate successful business cases for HM Treasury approval at a business with a governmental level of scrutiny and approval. The role will see your talents manage the business and financial processes of the team, provide insightful analysis, and support informed decision-making throughout the lifecycle of the model through to submission, successful approval and beyond.
