Head of Asset Management & Investment needed in Manchester Paying £450 per day B 43FA / 1
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver the Asset Management Strategy, ensuring property assets are optimised, sustainable, compliant, and aligned with organisational objectives.
- Lead the management and performance of residential, commercial, and operational property portfolios, including investment, acquisition, disposal, redevelopment, and lifecycle planning.
- Oversee capital investment, planned maintenance, and asset improvement programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and building safety requirements, including fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, and water safety obligations.
- Lead asset performance monitoring, stock condition assessments, risk management, and data-driven decision making to maximise value and minimise liabilities.
- Manage revenue and capital budgets, business planning, investment appraisals, and value-for-money initiatives.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on asset investment, portfolio optimisation, estate regeneration, and long-term asset planning.
- Lead, develop, and motivate multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with contractors, consultants, residents, leaseholders, regulators, and key stakeholders.
- Represent the organisation at senior meetings, committees, and stakeholder forums, ensuring services remain customer-focused and responsive.
- Develop and monitor performance indicators, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to support effective decision-making and continuous service improvement.
- Drive innovation, service transformation, and organisational change initiatives across the asset management function.
