Planning Lead

North West Hybrid Working £70,000 - £90,000 (DOE) package

We’re currently looking for an experienced Planning Lead / Planning Manager to join our clients team, working across a portfolio of high-value, technically complex projects in the North West.

• Lead the planning strategy and project controls across major MEP projects.
• Develop and manage integrated programmes from design through to commissioning and handover.
• Own critical path, programme risk, forecasting and recovery planning.
• Provide planning expertise across EOTs, delay analysis and claims.
• Work closely with Project Directors, Commercial teams, clients and senior stakeholders.
• Support bids, tenders and wider project planning where required.
• Lead and mentor other planners, with direct reports possible.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong planning experience across major MEP / engineering projects.
• Experience with in a Tier 1 MEP, building services or major engineering contractor.
• Must haveASTA Power project experience – essential.
• Solid knowledge of EOTs, delay analysis, claims and contractual programmes.
• Good understanding of NEC, JCT or similar forms of contract.
• The confidence to challenge programmes and influence Project Directors, Commercial teams and clients.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle.
