General Manager, cool bar/venue, Manchester - £70,000 + strong bonus

Our client is an exciting bar venue based in the UK and expanding with a new site opening in Manchester.

They are seeking a General Managers role in one of the new soon to be flagship venues, this site is all about opening this icon new venue, setting the standards that set the course of the company.

They are looking to appoint a General Manager for their Manchester site.

This role would have responsibility for the standards, service delivery, retail concepts and health safety –
All that jazz, service amazing drink and great food in a relaxed environment

General Managers and the management team will recruit, mentor, and manage the team, developing and growing them in site for development.

You will also be instrumental in growing the sales and revenue; you will devise and deliver local sales and marketing campaigns to complement the group sales strategy and continue outreach activity when the site is open.

LOADS of events in this venue, which makes its an all-year-round busy operation.

To be considered for the General Manager post you will have at least 3-years management experience within the bar/pub and food sector at General Manager level;

Experience of driving sales activity through the planning and implementation of lead generation campaigns would be hugely beneficial, particularly within the local area.

You will certainly be passionate about the food and drinks sector.

You will be the type of manager who enjoys leading from the front and engaging with your team and the customers, not a back-office manager so an outgoing disposition is essential.
