Operations Manager

Reed Business Support are proud to be partnering with a charity in the East Lancashire area who are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to support the delivery of three community-focused projects that share a common mission of supporting people experiencing poverty, disability, poor mental health, and other challenges within the local community. This is a varied and rewarding position which combines operational leadership, charity governance, people management, communications, fundraising, and administration.

You will work closely with project leaders and Trustees to ensure the effective operation and continued development of the charity and its services. Working 20 hours per week, the successful candidate will help shape priorities alongside the Board of Trustees while supporting the ongoing delivery of existing projects and exploring future opportunities for community outreach and development.

Key Responsibilities Support the Board of Trustees with administration and governance. Line manage Project Managers and provide operational support. Oversee compliance, safeguarding, HR records and data protection. Manage communications, social media and stakeholder engagement. Support fundraising activities and funding applications. Monitor budgets and financial processes using Xero. About You Practising Christian with active involvement in church life (occupational requirement). Previous management and administration experience.

Strong organisational, communication and financial management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint. Charity sector, fundraising or Xero experience would be advantageous. Salary & Benefits Up to £33,000 Full-time equivalent salary Hybrid working. Full training provided. Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the local community.
