Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Priory Hospital Altrincham, Hale, Cheshire provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for a range of mental health conditions and addictions, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, OCD, phobias, PTSD and bipolar disorder. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Rappax Road and Altrincham railway station approximately 1-2 miles from the hospital.

What you’ll be doingYou’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Lead and manage the hospital’s Estates and Facilities, including Maintenance, Housekeeping, Catering, Reception and Administration teams.
- Ensure high-quality support services are delivered safely, efficiently and within agreed budgets.
- Oversee building maintenance, health & safety, compliance, contractors and capital improvement projects.
- Lead, develop and motivate support services teams, while building strong relationships with colleagues and external suppliers.
- Provide visible leadership across the site and contribute to the Hospital Senior Management Team and on-call rota.
- Strong leadership and line management experience.
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and working to tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of health & safety and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple operational services effectively.
- Experience in a similar senior role within healthcare or hospitality.
- Senior management experience with responsibility for multiple teams.
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
- Experience in project management and capital expenditure.
- Experience managing external contractors and suppliers
