Position available for a Waste Strategy Manager looking for an autonomous role offering excellent growth and career prospects.
This is a great chance to join the senior leadership team (SLT) of an established heavy engineering specialist going through significant growth, as you oversee their waste management strategy for 10 sites, totalling 150,000+ tonnes per year.
You may be working internally for a company already or working for a waste management company and looking to make a move in-house. Either profile can be considered.
Ideally will have experience of overseeing & developing waste management strategies, treatment / disposal routes and a proven background contract negotiations.
The company turnover £500m plus per annum and have operations spanning the UK, with further acquisitions on the horizon. Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking a Waste Strategy Manager to join the business on a full time & permanent basis.
In this role you will take responsibility for establishing the most commercially viable recycling, recovery, treatment and disposal routes. You will be responsible for all contract negotiation with full budgetary control, ensuring all waste movements remain commercially viable and environmentally compliant.
Position:- £85,000 - £90,000 + 5k Car Allowance + Benefits
