Adecco is looking to recruit General Assistants to work for our client in Westhoughton on a temporary ongoing basis. These roles involve working 12‑hour day/night shifts and require flexibility; you may be asked to work weekends and overtime. The location is on Wingates and you must be able to commit to arriving for a 6 am start and not rely on public transport.

• Work 12‑hour day/night shifts, including weekends and overtime.
• Ensure production across the site is maintained.
• General cleaning of the site.
• Disposal/removal of waste, e.g. shredding and guillotine cut‑offs.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles, including racking and de‑racking materials.
• Work on a production line.
• Operate machinery.
• Clean machinery using a shotblast machine.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or production environment.
• Steady employment background.
• Willingness to undergo a security clearance process before starting.
• Availability to work early‑morning shifts (6 am start) without relying on public transport.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
