Manual Vertical Borer and Manual Horizontal Borer

Position: Manual Vertical Borer and Manual Horizontal Borer (Permanent)
Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:

We are looking for Manual Vertical Borer and Manual Horizontal Borer Setter/Operator for permanent positions in Manchester.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)

Rate of Pay is £16.00 to £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

This will be working either a days or nights shift

Day shift:

Monday - Thursday: 08..30 and Friday: 08..hours per week.

30-minute unpaid lunch break Monday - Thursday, no lunch break on Friday.

Day shifts are expected to achieve a minimum of 11 hours overtime per week.

Overtime is paid at T+1/3 and Sunday's T+1/2.

Night shift:

Monday - Thursday: 18..00 (4 x 12 hours shifts) paid at T+1/3.

Paid lunch break. Overtime available Friday after 13.00 as well as Saturday and Sunday. Overtime for night shift is paid at T+1/2.

Job descriptions:

Manual Vertical Borer setter/operator

Candidate must:

Have experience of setting and operating manual vertical boring machines or have a turning background.
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy work pieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect.
Be willing to work overtime when needed.

Manual Horizontal Borer setter/operator

Candidate must:

Have experience of setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines or have a milling background.
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy work pieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect.
