CNC Machinists

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:

We are looking for CNC Machinists for permanent positions in Manchester.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)

Rate of Pay is £16.00 to £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

This will be working either a days or nights shift

Day shift:

Monday - Thursday: 08.00 - 16.30 and Friday: 08.00 - 13.00 - 37 hours per week.

30-minute unpaid lunch break Monday - Thursday, no lunch break on Friday.

Day shifts are expected to achieve a minimum of 11 hours overtime per week.

Overtime is paid at T+1/3 and Sunday's T+1/2.

Night shift:

Monday - Thursday: 18.00 - 06.00 (4 x 12 hours shifts) paid at T+1/3.

Paid lunch break. Overtime available Friday after 13.00 as well as Saturday and Sunday. Overtime for night shift is paid at T+1/2.

Job descriptions:

CNC Horizontal Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer

Candidate must:

Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC horizontal boring/milling machines using the Heidenhain control system.
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy work pieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect.
Be willing to work overtime when needed.

CNC Vertical Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer

Candidate must:

Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC Vertical boring/lathe machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam or Fusion software for programming.)
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy work pieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect.
Be willing to work overtime when needed.

CNC Hartford Horizontal Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer

Candidate must:

Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam or Fusion software for programming.)
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy work pieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect.
Be willing to work overtime when needed.

CNC Elgamill Setter/Operator/Programmer

Candidate must:

Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam or Fusion software for programming.)
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy work pieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect.
