Aluminium TIG Welder

Our client is a market leader within there field.

They are looking to recruit a TIG welder/fabricator to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Day- to- day
  • Establish tasks set on a daily basis and meeting deadlines.
  • To review engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
  • Perform welding/plating activities.
  • Tig welding of Aluminium
  • Fabricate sheet metal.
  • Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output.
  • Ensure production timings are met/exceeded.
  • Use of Management system
  • Follow company rules and adhere to procedures & Health and Safety standards.
  • Work as part of a team to produce orders on time and within customer expectation/quality requirements.
  • Ensure correct marking up of component parts.
  • Support the Production Manager with Quality Checks and obtain sign off.
  • Maintain work records to support the client handover.

• Health and Safety
• Carry out and record daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and safety checks.
• Liaise directly with production manager/ external engineers to solve any issues with the machines and organise engineer visits to rectify problems.
• Operate in accordance with the provided RAMs and complete Dynamic Risk assessments as and when required.
