Bench Assembly Operative

Position: Bench Assembly Operative (Permanent)
Location: Trafford

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established company based in Trafford Park within the laminate manufacturing industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience operating specialist machinery and looking for a long-term position with the potential to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating and setting machinery safely and efficiently

Monitoring production quality and output

Reading and working from technical drawings/specifications

Ensuring materials are cut and finished to high standards

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Reporting any faults or maintenance requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 12 months’ experience operating edgebanders, post forming machinery, spindle moulders, beam saws or similar

Experience with in the laminate, woodworking, furniture manufacturing or similar industry preferred

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Good understanding of health & safety procedures

Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

Offer:

* Competitive pay rate of £14.00 – £16.50 per hour (depending on experience)

* Early finish on Fridays

* Temp to permanent opportunity

Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday: 07..00
Friday: 07..45
