Senior Manufacturing Engineer (SC Cleared)
Bedfordshire | £55,000
Permanent | 37.5 hrs | 4-day week (Mon-Thu)
A leading defence engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support NPI, prototype build, and full-rate production across high-profile programmes.
Key focus areas:- Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement
- NPI from concept to production release
- CNC manufacturing (5-axis) & process optimisation
- Workshop, production line & facility setup
- Manufacturing BOMs, routings & Bo Es
- Tooling, fixturing & capital equipment planning
- Strong manufacturing engineering background in regulated environments
- Proven Lean & NPI experience
- 5-axis CNC knowledge (Hyper Mill preferred)
- ERP/MRP experience (SAP or similar)
- SC Cleared
