Aluminium TIG Welder

TIG Welder / Fabricator Aluminium & Sheet Metal Market Leading Company Permanent TIG Welder / Fabricator required for a permanent role with a market-leading engineering company. Our client, a well-respected leader in their industry, is seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator to join their production team. This is a full-time role focused on high-quality fabrication and welding, with opportunities to work on a variety of aluminium and sheet metal projects.

Key Responsibilities TIG Welder / Fabricator Establish daily tasks and meet production deadlines Review and interpret engineering drawings for fabrication/welding TIG weld aluminium components Fabricate sheet metal parts to precise tolerances Ensure production output meets quality and timing requirements Use company management systems to log work and maintain records Follow company procedures and Health & Safety standards Work collaboratively with the production team to meet customer expectations Correctly mark-up component parts for fabrication Support the Production Manager with quality checks and obtain sign-off Maintain accurate work records to support client handover Health & Safety Responsibilities Carry out and record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and safety checks Liaise with production manager and external engineers to resolve machine issues Organise engineer visits where required Operate in accordance with RAMS and complete Dynamic Risk Assessments as needed Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a TIG Welder / Fabricator Skilled in aluminium welding and sheet metal fabrication Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Strong attention to quality, detail, and production deadlines Team player with good communication skills Health & Safety conscious and able to follow procedures
