Position: CNC Operator (Routing)
CNC Operator

Hourly Rate: £14.89 - £16.06 (depending on experience), with progression through pay grades

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience across CNC machining processes and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines in accordance with company standards and production requirements
Maintain strict adherence to health & safety guidelines and 5S workplace standards
Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and datum setting
Ensure high-quality output while meeting production targets

Skills & Experience

Essential

Experience working with OSAI CNC controllers (critical requirement)
Strong understanding of CNC machining principles
Ability to carry out tool changes and machine setup
Desirable (but not essential)

3-Axis CNC Routing

Knowledge of 2D sheet metal components
Experience cutting aluminium materials
Exposure to VWM / Technos 38 machines

5-Axis CNC Machining

Experience setting up fixtures and jigs
Ability to set tool datums
Familiarity with CMS machines

CNC Punching

Machine and tool setup
Experience working with materials from 0.6mm to 2mm

Experience with Amada machines and Fanuc controllers

CAD/CAM Software

Exposure to Radan, Alpha

CAM, or CATIA V5
