About the Role
Working as part of an established engineering assembly team, this role involves hands‑on assembly and production of a wide range of fabricated and fully assembled products.
Key Responsibilities- Bench assembly of engineering components
- Stripping, preparing and terminating cables
- Soldering electrical connections
- Carrying out quality checks on assembled parts
- Assisting with light fabrication tasks when required
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Supporting production targets and deadlines
- Ensure all work is carried out to company quality standards and engineering specifications
- Follow health and safety regulations, including safe working practices within the workshop and during the installations
You will be:
- Eager to learn with a can‑do attitude
- Highly motivated for the delivery of accurate and high quality work
- Work effectively and calmly under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Work effectively in a team
- Conscientious
- Accurate with high attention to detail
- Experienced in manufacturing, production and/or assembly work
- Experienced with cable assembly or soldering essential
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work with workshop tools and equipment
- Welding or fabrication experience is an advantage but not essential
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
