Key Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate welding techniques and perform welding activities to build steel welded assemblies
- Weld various joint configurations in various positions to work instructions
- Ensure through visual inspection that the welded finished component conforms to the drawing and requirements.
- Work in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings and relevant Quality standards and SHE requirements.
- Welding / fabrication experience working on steel in a heavy engineering environment
- Experience in the use of primarily MIG (MAG and TIG desirable) welding systems including working with
- Must be Time Served Apprenticeship trained or hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
