We are seeking an Experienced Production Operative to join a dynamic manufacturing environment based in Trafford Park. This role involves working within a fast-paced production line, ensuring the efficient and safe manufacture of products to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines. The successful candidate contributes to maintaining operational flow, adhering to health and safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures.
• Carry out assembly, packing, and quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Monitor production processes and report any issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to comply with health and safety standards.
• Support stock control activities including the handling and movement of materials within the production area.
• Follow instructions accurately to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Participate in training and development activities to maintain and enhance skills.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Adhere to all company policies including health and safety, quality assurance, and environmental guidelines.

• Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in a similar role.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read instructions and record data accurately.
• Ability to work shift patterns, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive movements.
• Understanding of health and safety practises within a manufacturing setting.

• General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential.

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or production operative role.
• Experience using production machinery and tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions and report issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Time management skills to meet production deadlines.
• Basic problem-solving skills to identify and elevate production issues.
• Maintain focus to ensure quality,efficiency, and safety as standard.

• Health and Safety qualification relevant to manufacturing, such as a recognised safety certificate
• Previous experience working within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or automotive manufacturing environment.

• The role is based in a manufacturing facility within Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, requiring adherence to site safety regulations.
