Monday to Friday
Hours:
7:00am - 4:30pm (Overtime Available)
- £17.00 - £20.00 per hour PAYE (depending on experience)
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
- Weekly PAYE payroll
- Holiday pay accrued

Freeway Recruitment is recruiting experienced MIG Welders on behalf of a number of well-established engineering and manufacturing clients across Greater Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled welders looking for ongoing work, competitive pay and the chance to secure a permanent position with respected manufacturers.
You'll be producing high-quality fabrications using MIG welding techniques, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- MIG welding mild steel and structural steel components
- Fabricating products from engineering drawings
- Operating workshop machinery and hand tools safely
- Producing high-quality welds to specification
- Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Working to production schedules and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
To be considered, you'll need:
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with fabrication and assembly work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of workshop health and safety
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- MIG Welding Qualification (City & Guilds, EAL, NVQ or equivalent)
- Fabrication experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- £17.00 - £20.00 per hour PAYE
- Weekly PAYE payroll
- Overtime available
- Immediate starts
