Manual Machinist
Location:
Basildon
Salary: £17.00ph - £20.00ph - Negotiable Depending on Experience
Hours:
Monday to Friday - 08:00am - 16:00pm
Proactive are currently recruiting for skilled Manual Machinist to start work in Basildon immediately. This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leading manufacturing company. The Manual Machinist role will involve manufacturing of components and parts to support production in our Engineering Services groups.
Responsibilities- Operating manual machinery, mills, lathes etc. (not CNC).
- Reading engineering drawings.
- Production of components.
- Working to tight tolerances.
- Must have previous manual machining experience.
- Any fabrication/welding experience advantageous.
- Keeping a clean and tidy work area
- Adhering to health and safety standards
