Position: CNC PROGRAMMER SETTER
CNC Programmer / Setter - Wolverhampton People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter to join our well-established engineering client based in Wolverhampton on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC professional looking for a day-shift position with an early Friday finish and 26 days' annual leave. This role would particularly suit applicants with previous experience as a CNC Programmer, CNC Setter or Precision Engineer .

Rates of Pay: £34,500 - £38,500 per annum, depending on experience Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm Day shifts only Benefits:

As a CNC Programmer / Setter , you will work:
Programming, setting and operating 2 and 3-axis Doosan CNC machines Working with FANUC i-Series controls Producing components accurately to engineering drawings and specifications Setting tooling, offsets and machine parameters Carrying out programme adjustments where required Performing quality and dimensional checks on finished components Maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity Identifying and resolving machining issues Working safely and efficiently within a busy engineering environment Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a CNC Programmer / Setter , you will need:
Previous experience as a CNC Programmer, CNC Setter, CNC Turner or CNC Machinist Strong experience programming and setting CNC machinery

Experience with 2 and/or 3-axis CNC machines Knowledge of FANUC controls Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Good understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds and tolerances Strong attention to detail Desirable

Experience:

Previous experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment Experience working with Doosan CNC machinery Experience producing components to tight tolerances Additional CNC machining experience would be advantageous Training:
