Welder

We’re looking for a Welder to join a specialist fabrication business based Stretford.

This is a role suited to someone with at least 5 years of welding experience, as you will be carrying out MIG, TIG and stick welding across bespoke fabrication and repair work.

What’s on offer?

 * £17 – £17.50 p/h

* Mon – Thu | 7:30am – 4pm

* Fri | 7:30am – 3pm

* Overtime paid at 1.25x | 1.5x at weekends

* 22 days holiday plus bank holidays

What will you be doing as a Welder?

* Carrying out MIG, TIG and stick welding on mild and stainless steel

* Working with materials ranging from 1.5mm to 40mm, with approximately 70% of the work involving mild steel

* Working from drawings, samples or copies

* Welding pipework and producing short pipe spools

* Completing bespoke welding and small fabrication work

* Building up bearing surfaces ready for finish machining

* Repairing bearing housings and reinforcing bosses and bushes

* Repairing brackets, linkages, railings, stairs, fences, doors and water equipment

What will you need?

* At least 5 years of welding experience
