We're looking for a Welder to join a specialist fabrication business based Stretford.
This is a role suited to someone with at least 5 years of welding experience, as you will be carrying out MIG, TIG and stick welding across bespoke fabrication and repair work.
What's on offer?- £17 - £17.50 p/h
- Mon - Thu | 7:30am - 4pm
- Fri | 7:30am - 3pm
- Overtime paid at 1.25x | 1.5x at weekends
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Pension contribution
- Carrying out MIG, TIG and stick welding on mild and stainless steel
- Working with materials ranging from 1.5mm to 40mm, with approximately 70% of the work involving mild steel
- Working from drawings, samples or copies
- Welding pipework and producing short pipe spools
- Completing bespoke welding and small fabrication work
- Building up bearing surfaces ready for finish machining
- Repairing bearing housings and reinforcing bosses and bushes
- Repairing brackets, linkages, railings, stairs, fences, doors and water equipment
- At least 5 years of welding experience
