Monday to Friday, 06:30am - 2:45pm (30-minute unpaid break)
Overtime:

About the Role

Our client is a leading interior design specialist serving Blue Chip clients across the aviation industry. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and hardworking Packing & Assembly Operative to join their team in Wythenshawe.

Key Responsibilities

Pack aircraft interior components and finished products to company standards.
Inspect items prior to packing to ensure they meet quality requirements.
Label, wrap and prepare goods for dispatch and transportation.
Carry out assembly of aircraft seating and interior components following work instructions and quality standards.
Undertake seat scraping and preparation work as part of the refurbishment and production process.
Use hand tools and equipment safely to complete assembly and preparation tasks.
Safely handle and move materials and products throughout the workshop.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Assist with stock control, goods-in activities and general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a packing, assembly, warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Experience using hand tools and carrying out basic assembly work would be advantageous.
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow specifications and work instructions accurately.
Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling tasks.
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexible and willing to work overtime when required.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
