We currently have opportunities for CNC / Machine Operators to join our team in Carnwath. this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded, with a hands-on approach and is keen to learn and develop new skills.

Working as part of our production team, you will operate CNC and other machinery to process structural steel sections safely, accurately and on time, meeting quality standards and production targets. Full training will be provided on our state-of-the-art machinery, processes and in-house systems, with opportunities to develop your skills and take on greater responsibility. Previous CNC experience is not essential. Full training will be provided to the right person.

Key

Duties Include:

• Operating equipment required for the role in a safe manner, including the use of overhead cranes.
• Ensure all tooling is correct and fit for purpose before carrying out the task ahead.
• Complete relevant documentation and record work activity using TnT scanning systems or Strumis systems. (This are in house tracking and recording system)
• Continuous housekeeping always ensuring a clean and safe working environment following BHC Ltd’s written work instructions.
• Adhere to BHC Ltd Health and Safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate with manager and maintenance department to report any issues with machine.
• Perform regular accuracy checks and record results to ensure a quality product.
• Ensure products are correctly marked before passing to next operation.

You will have a positive attitude, be practical, reliable and hardworking, with good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. You should be able to follow instructions and work safely, while being equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
