Upholsterer Salary: £14 p/h Employment:
Permanent, 39 hours per week

With all manufacturing based at a single, well-organised site, we pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, efficiency, and strong team collaboration. Job Purpose We are looking for a skilled and experienced Upholsterer to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility will be to build, upholster and prepare high-quality furniture components, including headboards and pads, using a variety of fabrics, leather and vinyl.

You will take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship while working efficiently to meet customer expectations and production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Foaming headboards and pads. Upholstering and tacking a range of materials including leather, vinyl and fabric. Measuring, cutting and preparing upholstery materials. Building and preparing upholstered furniture components to a high standard. Carrying out furniture repairs and re-upholstery where required. Using hand and power tools safely and effectively. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment. Producing accurate, high-quality work within agreed timescales.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets. Adhering to all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements. Essential Skills & Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience in contract furniture upholstery. Proven experience upholstering chairs, stools, headboards and other furniture components using a variety of fabrics, leather and vinyl. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.

Flexible, proactive and able to work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing or workshop environment. The ideal candidate is a motivated and reliable upholsterer who takes pride in their work, has excellent craftsmanship skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
