People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join our well-established client based in Irlam, Greater Manchester
.

This would suit applicants who have worked as an Assembly Operative, Production Operative or Manufacturing Operative.

Rates of Pay:

AM Shift: £13.68 per hour
PM Shift: £14.34 per hour
Night Shift: £15.00 per hour
£12.28 weekly attendance bonus

Shift Pattern:

Rotating shifts on a weekly basis
Candidates must be able to work all shift patterns

Week One:

Monday to Friday
06:00 - 14:00

Week Two:

Monday to Friday
14:00 - 22:00

Week Three:

Sunday to Thursday
22:00 - 06:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Factory Operative are:

Manufacturing a range of fire prevention products in line with company specifications and quality standards
Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations at all times
Carrying out production tasks including palletising finished products, bagging products, and assembling small components
Fitting rubber washers to sprinklers and other assembly duties as required
Conducting visual quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
Reporting any hazards, defects, or safety concerns to management promptly
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
Complying with all company policies and site rules
Undertaking any other reasonable duties as assigned by management

Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a Factory Operative
, you will need:

Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
The ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow work instructions accurately
A team-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively
The ability to work rotating shifts
Good communication skills
Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
Adaptability and a proactive attitude
A strong work ethic and excellent eye for detail
Availability to start work as soon as possible
