Fancy getting started straight away with plenty of work available in the run-up to Christmas? We’re recruiting reliable Production Operatives to join a busy cheese manufacturing operation. With early starts, regular weekday shifts and ongoing work available, this is a great opportunity to join an established production team.

You’ll play an important part in producing high-quality cheese, working as part of a team in a busy food manufacturing environment.

Your responsibilities will involve preparing and handling milk and cheese products throughout the production process, following set recipes and procedures and ensuring products meet the required quality and hygiene standards.

You may be involved in moulding, cutting, turning and grading cheese, adding cultures and preparing finished products for packaging. You’ll also help monitor products throughout production, operate equipment following appropriate training and complete production and quality records accurately.

The role involves working in chilled or temperature-controlled environments, standing for extended periods and carrying out some manual handling. Maintaining a clean and organised working area while following strict food safety and health and safety procedures is essential.
