Job Description & How to Apply Below

Are you an Account Director who lives and breathes sport, street culture, gaming or lifestyle? Do you know what could derail a live event before it happens? Can you translate commercial ambition into culturally sharp creative? And are you confident enough to challenge global brands when it matters?

We’re partnering with a high-growth creative agency in Manchester looking for an exceptional Account Director to join their Client Services team.

This isn’t a “maintenance” AD role.

You’ll be the conductor of the band, leading the relationship, translating client feedback into intelligent briefs, interrogating strategy, and ensuring campaigns land brilliantly across digital, social and live environments.

You’ll report into a Senior Business Director and manage an Account Manager, working closely as a tight-knit trio to deliver culturally relevant, commercially effective campaigns.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Acting as the trusted advisor to major clients
  • Leading integrated campaigns across digital, social and live experiences
  • Translating client feedback into clear, efficient and inspiring briefs
  • Owning financial performance and commercial growth across accounts
  • Challenging clients confidently and constructively
  • Leading pitches, presentations and strategic conversations
  • Identifying new growth opportunities within existing relationships
  • Managing and developing an Account Manager
  • Presenting strategy and creative responses alongside internal teams
  • Travelling to events throughout the year where required
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years in a fast-paced creative agency
  • Strong digital & social campaign experience (this is essential)
  • Exposure to live campaigns or event production
  • Experience handling large, recognisable brands
  • Commercial confidence and strong budget ownership
  • The ability to lead, not operate as a lone wolf
The Culture

This agency backs ambitious, creative people. They want team players who are culturally curious, commercially sharp and creatively ambitious.

  • Flexible & hybrid working
  • Birthday off
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and shared parental leave
  • Private medical insurance and health cash plan
  • Enhanced sick leave and mental health support
