A leading digital agency in Manchester is looking for a Senior Paid Media Executive to take on a key role within the team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who genuinely loves all things Paid Media and enjoys working closely with clients to help them achieve their business goals.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns and a strong understanding of how to apply different strategies to drive performance against client KPIs. This role is well suited to a Paid Media professional with 2+ years’ experience who is ready to take greater ownership of accounts and work across a variety of industries, channels, and platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Directly manage a portfolio of client accounts across Search, Shopping, Display, and Paid Social channels
  • Create tailored account plans, budget recommendations, and performance reports to drive client value
  • Work closely with clients to ensure strategies, actions, and recommendations align with their business objectives
  • Monitor account performance, providing clear analysis, insights, and investigative reporting
  • Ensure accurate tracking and attribution are in place for all Paid Media activity, implementing solutions where required
  • Attend weekly client calls, providing updates on performance, progress, and ongoing activity
  • Manage and monitor media budgets across accounts, including month-end reconciliation and administration
  • Take ownership of your personal development, identifying skill gaps and supporting knowledge sharing within the team
  • Act as a role model within the Paid Media team, proactively suggesting new ideas and improvements to enhance client performance
  • Represent the Paid Media team in strategy reviews, sharing insights, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with other channel teams
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing Google Ads campaigns (agency or in-house experience)
  • Experience owning account optimisation, reporting, and performance improvements
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical Paid Media activity to non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of Paid Social platforms and how they work alongside Google Ads
  • Knowledge of digital marketing across B2C and B2B business models
  • Highly organised and analytical, with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (comfortable with formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ambition to test new ideas and embrace new ways of working
