The Consumer Strategist places consumers at the heart of our business, understanding their behaviours, attitudes, and needs, and identifying the problems to solve. By developing and executing impactful, intuitive, and relevant experiences, you will partner closely with brands and cross‑functional partners to infuse the consumer mindset and drive capability across the organization. The role covers the Northern European Hub, including the UK & Nordic markets.
Key Responsibilities- Build understanding of the consumer within the B2B space, including segmentation, personas, landscape, and regulatory environment.
- Develop the strategy for consumer engagement plans for the next five years.
- Create a clear test‑and‑learn pilot plan for working with B2B partners.
- Own the planning, execution, and optimisation of consumer campaigns across chosen and most relevant channels, collaborating with media agencies, creative agencies, legal, regulatory, and BI&A to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Work with internal cross‑functional teams to drive capability, clarity, communication, and alignment on consumer campaigns (Marketing, Market research, Digital, Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal) and external partners (Agencies, Vendors).
- Build consumer capability within the team by demonstrating processes, tools, and techniques that put the consumer first.
- Monitor the external environment and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Passion for Consumers: deep understanding of a broad range of consumer research techniques and insight generation.
- Excellent Campaign Planning & Execution: experience in developing, localising, and amplifying campaigns in the UK and Nordics with strong impact and long‑term emotional resonance.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
ability to lead and embed new processes and capabilities across functions. - Data‑Driven Decision Making: utilisation of analytics and insights to measure performance and drive improvement.
- Leading‑Edge Communication: ability to convey complex ideas, strategies, and expectations to diverse stakeholders.
- Over 7 years of proven experience in consumer marketing.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high‑performing teams.
- In‑depth knowledge of consumer data, insights, planning techniques, and tools.
- Experience working with media, creative, and research agencies.
- High proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to derive actionable insights from marketing analytics.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Resilience and experience driving consumer transformation in a healthcare setting.
