About the RoleThe Senior Social Commerce Executive is an execution-focused specialist role within THG Ingenuity’s Partnership Marketing team, responsible for the day-to-day running and optimisation of Tik Tok Shop across client accounts.
Reporting into the Senior Social Manager, this role is central to the delivery of Ingenuity’s Tik Tok Shop offering - ensuring shops are set up correctly, products are listed and optimised, performance is tracked, and creator and affiliate activity is coordinated effectively.
This is a hands‑on role for someone with a strong working knowledge of Tik Tok Shop, a sharp eye for detail, and the drive to deliver commercial results through social commerce. You’ll work closely with the Senior Social Manager, ecommerce teams, and creator partners to keep Tik Tok Shops running smoothly and performing at their best.
Key Responsibilities Tik Tok Shop Operations & Execution- Support the day-to-day management and optimisation of Tik Tok Shop across client accounts, ensuring shops are live, accurate, and performing to plan.
- Support the set‑up of new Tik Tok Shops for clients, following established best‑practice frameworks and contributing to their ongoing development.
- Support the coordination of Tik Tok Shop campaigns and activations in line with the client trading calendar, working with content, creative, and brand teams to brief and deliver assets.
- Monitor shoppable content performance - tracking views, clicks, add‑to‑cart rates, and conversion - and flag optimisation opportunities to ecommerce teams.
- Assist in the scheduling and publishing of Tik Tok Shop content, ensuring posts, live events, and product highlights are executed on time and to brief.
- Contribute to the development of content ideas that align with platform trends, client objectives, and Tik Tok best practice.
- Support the management of Tik Tok Shop creator and affiliate partnerships, coordinating briefs, deliverables, product seeding, and performance tracking.
- Help identify and recruit new creators through Tik Tok Shop’s affiliate marketplace, supporting the Senior Social Manager’s broader influencer strategy.
- Track creator content performance and affiliate commission data, compiling regular reports and identifying top‑performing partnerships.
- Maintain clear records of creator agreements, content delivery schedules, and performance metrics.
- Monitor Tik Tok Shop performance on a daily and weekly basis, tracking GMV, conversion rate, AOV, and top‑performing products across client accounts.
- Compile performance reports for internal account teams and contribute to client‑facing reporting, providing clear and accurate data with initial commentary.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities from performance data, escalating insights and recommendations to the ecommerce team.
- Stay up to date with Tik Tok Shop analytics tools and dashboards, ensuring the team has access to accurate and timely data.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of Tik Tok Shop, its features, policies, and evolving best practice.
- Stay informed of Tik Tok platform updates, new formats, and social commerce trends, sharing relevant insight with the team.
- Support knowledge‑sharing within the team by documenting processes, updating playbooks, and contributing to best practice guides.
- Work closely with ecommerce account leads, paid social, creative, content, and operations teams to ensure Tik Tok Shop activity is coordinated and commercially aligned.
- Support the Senior Social Manager with day‑to‑day tasks, project coordination, and ad‑hoc requests across the Partnership Marketing team.
