Social Media Officer

Description

Create and manage engaging content across social media channels in line with brand and tone of voice guidelines.
Manage online communities, build audience engagement, and support channel growth.
Develop relationships with influencers and content creators to support campaigns and organisational objectives.
Maintain content calendars and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and reactive content.
Capture and produce photo, video, and audio content for digital channels and events.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop, approve, and publish content.
Monitor social media and influencer performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Research emerging trends, platforms, and best practices to inform strategy and content development.
Manage influencer partnerships, including briefing, relationship management, content review, and ROI evaluation.
Use social media management and analytics tools to schedule content, measure performance, and deliver training and support to colleagues.

Profile

A successful Social Media Officer should have:

Proven experience managing social media platforms and online communities.
Strong knowledge of influencer marketing and building partnerships with content creators.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating engaging content.
Proficiency in social media analytics tools to track and report on performance.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to ensure consistency in tone and branding.
Experience in the public sector or a similar environment is desirable.

Job Offer

A fixed-term contract with a salary range of £31,762 to £36,093 per annum.
