The Caribbean & African Health Network (CAHN) is a Black-led organisation set up in 2017 to address long standing health disparities within our community. We have grown to a national organisation leading the call to challenge and address the wider social determinants and reduce health inequalities for people of Caribbean & African heritage.
CAHN’s mission is to end health inequalities and wider disparities for Caribbean and African people in a generation. Our vision is to ensure that the strategic and operational actions of service providers across health and cross sector agencies and commissioners, lead to racial and social justice for Black people.
The Caribbean & African Health Network (CAHN) is looking for an enthusiastic Communications & Marketing Officer to help amplify its voice, grow its audience, and showcase the impact of its work across the UK.
The Communications & Marketing Officer will play a key role in shaping and delivering CAHN’s written and digital content, with a strong focus on copywriting, storytelling, and website content management. The postholder will support the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the organisation’s website, ensuring content is clear, accurate, engaging, and aligned with CAHN’s values and priorities.
The role will support an upcoming website development phase over the next 3-4 months, contributing to copy development and content preparation, before moving into ongoing website upkeep, updates, and content governance. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, the postholder will help translate programme activity, impact, and insight into compelling stories, case studies, and reports that strengthen CAHN’s voice and visibility.
