We’re working with an organisation that helps people navigate money worries and improve their financial wellbeing. Through free, practical guidance on budgeting, debt and everyday finances, it helps people understand their options and take the next step with confidence.

They’re looking for a Social Media Manager who knows how to turn a good idea into content that connects. You’ll have enough marketing experience to make sound decisions, manage your own work and understand what social media needs to achieve for the wider business. You’ll also enjoy getting stuck in: filming, editing, writing and creating posts yourself.

What you’ll do

Plan and manage social content across the organisation’s channels.

Create videos from idea to publication, working both behind and in front of the camera.

Produce static posts, carousels and campaign content.

Make financial topics clear, useful and approachable for different audiences.

Work with marketing colleagues and subject experts to keep content accurate and supportive.

Monitor performance, learn what resonates and adapt your approach.

Spot timely opportunities and bring new ideas to the team.

What we’re looking for

Solid experience in social media management, backed by a broader understanding of marketing.

Examples of video and static content you’ve created and campaigns you’ve helped deliver.

Confidence filming, editing and appearing on camera.

Strong writing skills and good judgement, especially with sensitive topics.

The ability to take ownership, keep projects moving and balance creativity with results.
