Our client, Cherish Pets Forever, is all about celebrating the pets that mean the world to us.
They create personalised pet products designed for people who don't see their pet as simply an animal, but as a much-loved member of the family.
As the brand continues to grow, we are looking for a creative Social Media & Content Creator who can bring that message to life online and help more pet lovers discover Cherish Pets Forever.
This is a remote, freelance opportunity with flexible hours, ideal for someone who loves creating social content, understands what makes people stop scrolling and, importantly, genuinely understands just how much people love their pets.
Role overview
Working closely with the business owner, you will create engaging social media content that showcases Cherish Pets Forever's personalised products while building an emotional connection with pet owners.
We don't just want to show people a product.
We want the content to tell the story behind it.
Why would someone want something personalised with their dog's face, their cat's name or a special image of the pet they adore? What makes it a meaningful gift? What makes someone see a Reel and immediately think, "I need one of those for my pet"?
That is where you come in.
You will help turn products, customer stories, pet photographs and ideas into engaging content across Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok, including Reels, short-form videos, posts and stories.

Duties include:

* Creating engaging content for Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok, including Reels, videos, stories and posts
 
* Showcasing personalised pet products in creative, eye-catching ways
 
* Developing content that captures the emotional connection people have with their pets
 
* Coming up with fresh ideas around pets, personalised gifts, special occasions and seasonal moments
 
* Keeping up with social trends and finding creative ways to make them relevant to the brand
 
* Helping grow followers, reach and engagement across all social platforms
 
* Engaging with the online pet community and using content performance to shape future ideas
Who are we looking for?
We are much more interested in your creativity, ideas and understanding of social media than a specific number of years' experience.
Previous hands-on experience creating social media content, particularly Reels and short-form video, is essential for this role.
You might already work in social media, marketing or content creation. You could be freelancing, at the beginning of your career, or have built an impressive social presence of your own.
What matters is that you understand how to take a product and turn it into content that people actually want to watch and engage with.
We would love to hear from you if you:
 
* Love social media, content creation and, ideally, pets!
 
* Understand Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and AI within a creative content
 
* Can create engaging Reels, videos and visual content
 
* Know what makes people stop scrolling and engage
 
* Can showcase products in fresh and creative ways
 
* Keep up with social trends and have plenty of ideas of your own
 
* Are confident using tools such as Canva, Cap Cut or Adobe
 
* Are proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
Experience creating content for pet, gifting, personalised product, e-commerce or lifestyle brands would be particularly useful, but it isn't essential if you can show us great content and ideas.
