Female Volunteer Needed for Shabbat Candle Lighting (Biweekly) – Supported Living
This volunteer role involves lighting Shabbat candles, saying the blessings, and enjoying a short, friendly visit with a young lady in supported living who has a learning disability. The visit lasts 15–30 minutes, fortnightly on a Friday before Shabbat begins, and offers a warm opportunity to share Shabbat together through conversation and companionship. It is essential that volunteers are mindful of and respectful toward Shabbat laws during the visit.
We are seeking a female volunteer to support this role.
