Job Description & How to Apply Below

The UK Muslim Scout Fellowship (MSF) is the official body supporting Muslim adults and young people within UK Scouting. We act as an umbrella organisation that promotes Scouting within the Muslim community, supports the establishment of new groups, and delivers training, events (including Jamborees and Olympics), and resources.

Our work helps young Muslims develop confidence, leadership skills, and responsible citizenship bringing together Islamic values and Scout values.

About the Role

We are looking for three Group Engagement & Sustainability Officers to support Muslim Scout groups across the UK.

This is a frontline, relationship-focused role, working closely with local Scout groups to help them become stronger, more sustainable, and better supported. You will build trusted relationships with volunteers, assess group health, and provide practical, hands‑on support to improve volunteer retention, programme quality, and long‑term stability.

You’ll work closely with the MSF Growth and Group Support Team, acting as a bridge between local groups and MSF, ensuring groups feel supported, listened to, and connected to opportunities across the organisation.

This role involves regular face‑to‑face engagement, including evenings and weekends, aligned with Scout group meeting times.

Why Work With MSF?
  • Make a real impact supporting young people and volunteers across the UK
  • Work for a values‑led organisation rooted in community and faith
  • Flexible working options (part‑time or full‑time)
  • Opportunity to shape and strengthen Scouting in the Muslim community nationally
  • Opportunities for training and professional development
How to Apply:

Interested candidates should submit their CV and a cover letter outlining their suitability for the role to operations. Applications will be accepted until 10pm on February 9th 2026.
