Engagement Officer
Pay Range: £26,300 to £32,000.
Reed Wellbeing is a public service provider delivering lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that help people improve their health.
About the RoleWe are looking for an outgoing individual with experience in community outreach, engagement or sales to promote our National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP) and build referral pathways.
- Identify and engage with local stakeholder organisations and community partners to promote the NDPP.
- Work closely with NHS teams, volunteers, and community leaders to ensure the programme is accessible to priority outreach areas and groups.
- Support the achievement of local referral targets through strategic engagement and outreach activity.
- Provide insights to operations on referral volumes and types of members identified from key stakeholders.
- Ensure stakeholder engagement activities meet KPIs and SLAs.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal co‑members to ensure services are delivered effectively.
- Attend meetings with local CCGs and GPs to build broader engagement.
- Schedule regular face‑to‑face and telephone contact with stakeholders, prioritising as appropriate.
- Promote Reed Wellbeing services proactively across the geographical area.

Qualifications- Minimum of 2 A-Levels or equivalent Level3 Diploma.
- GCSE English Language at a minimum GradeB (or equivalent Level2).
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel within Greater Manchester.
- Experience as part of a multi‑function service delivery team.
- Experience in a performance target‑driven environment.
- Partnership, account, or business‑to‑business sales experience.
- Experience networking in publicly funded services or similar sectors.
- Experience working with disadvantaged client groups.
- Previous role such as Partnership Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Account Manager or Strategic Stakeholder Engagement.
- Pre‑existing network of contacts in the local area.
- Pro‑active, can‑do attitude and track record of driving positive change.
