Company Description SAZ MEDIA is a film and photography social enterprise that delivers creative services nationally to corporate, commercial, and VCSE (voluntary, community, and social enterprise) clients. Operating as a non-profit, the organisation reinvests its proceeds into supporting young people through free training and development initiatives. SAZ MEDIA focuses on using creative media to empower communities and provide practical opportunities for young people to build skills and confidence.
Team members contribute both to high-quality client projects and to meaningful social impact programs that open pathways into the creative industries.
Organisation: SAZ MEDIA CLUB LIMITED
Contract: Summer period (fixed-term) 6 weeks, 4 days per week, 25hrs per week at £15per hour. Starting 20th July 2026
-finishing 28th August 2026.
Location: Primarily Bolton town centre but you may be required to travel.
Job PurposeSAZ MEDIA is looking for an enthusiastic and approachable Summer Youth Worker to support young people completing work experience placements. The role will provide guidance, encouragement, and a safe environment where young people from diverse backgrounds can build confidence, develop workplace skills, and gain valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities- Support and mentor young people during their work experience placements.
- Build positive, professional relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
- Encourage confidence, communication, teamwork, and employability skills.
- Assist with activities, workshops, and workplace learning opportunities.
- Promote inclusion, equality, and positive engagement.
- Identify support needs and raise safeguarding concerns appropriately.
- Work with SAZ MEDIA staff and placement supervisors to ensure a positive experience.
- Experience working with young people from different backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, patient, and approachable personality.
- Ability to motivate, encourage, and support young people.
- Understanding of challenges young people may face entering the workplace.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
- Youth work, mentoring, education, or community experience.
- Experience supporting employability or work placements.
- Digital media skills including social media, filmmaking and photography.
- Reliable, adaptable, and professional.
- Respectful, non-judgemental, and supportive.
- Passionate about helping young people reach their potential.

This role involves working with young people and will require appropriate safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
