We are looking for a passionate and motivated Volunteer & Digital Services Coordinator to coordinate our volunteer programme and our digital services (helpline, live chat, and email service).
To recruit, train, supervise and support all volunteer roles (Helpline & Digital Service, art group and admin volunteers) and develop the volunteering provision s will include coordinating external group supervision for volunteers, identifying needs for further training, providing regular volunteer check‑ins, coordinating volunteer rotas, planning volunteer socials and completing associated volunteer administration.
In addition, you will have oversight of SARA’s digital services and develop the digital services to provide trauma‑informed anonymous and confidential support for survivors of sexual violence. As part of this, you will promote SARA’s digital services in Greater Manchester and beyond, develop the digital services procedures, line manage helpline sessional workers, ensure service user confidentiality, safeguard service users using the digital services, coordinate the on‑call safeguarding rota for the digital services, identify service user themes, and collect and record all service area data.

Flexitime - Working Pattern Details: 35 hours per week, usually working Monday – Friday with ad hoc cover of SARA’s helpline shifts on Tuesday 6pm – 9pm, Thursday 6pm – 9pm and Sunday 3pm – 6pm when needed due to volunteer availability to meet the needs of the service. There will also be an expectation to attend occasional events in the evening and weekends.
