Senior Staff Nurse – Oncology (Brighton Hospital) | Nursing | Bank | Part Time – Up to £26.00 per hour depending on experience

• Have a completed UKONS SACT passport.
• Be proficient in cannulation and venepuncture and able to access CVADs.
• Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring.
• Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be their best.
• Use excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient's needs.
• Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care.
• Provide day‑to‑day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students.
• Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training.

This role is part of a bank system; hours are ad‑hoc based on business needs. The Senior Staff Nurse – Oncology will work closely with consultants, lead by example, and support patient care and staff development.

• Registered with the appropriate governing body, holding NMC registration.
• Relevant qualifications and post‑registration experience in oncology nursing.
• Experience in mentoring and multi‑specialty surgical procedures.
• Knowledge of teaching, assessment, and management principles preferred.
