Main duties of the jobAs a Practice Nurse, you will:
Deliver routine nursing care including immunisations, cervical screening, wound care, and health checks.
Contribute to the ongoing management of patients with both acute and long-term conditions.
Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with practice protocols.
Work collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff.

Job responsibilities- Undertake comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations and health screening.
- Deliver evidence-based health promotion and lifestyle advice to patients.
- Administer vaccinations and immunisations in line with national guidelines.
- Support and manage patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and COPD.
- Contribute to chronic disease management clinics and clinical audits.
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider clinical team to ensure high standards of care.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Practice Nurse in general practice.
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Non‑medical prescriber V300, or willingness to work towards.
- Proven experience in chronic disease management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
