Saint Mary’s Obstetric Division currently runs an established maternity vaccination service delivering Pertussis, RSV, COVID & Flu vaccination clinics across maternity services at Oxford Road Campus, Wythenshawe site, North Manchester General Hospital and Trafford. At Saint Mary’s we want to ensure that all pregnant women are offered this service as many remain unprotected against these vaccine‑preventable diseases.
RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 nurse to join the team in delivering the vaccination programme to pregnant women at our maternity sites.
Responsibilities- Organise, plan, deliver and evaluate the vaccination programme.
- Work independently and as part of a busy vaccination team.
- Use excellent time‑management and IT skills.
- Enthusiasm, energy and a passion for delivering the best care possible.
- Some knowledge of the current vaccination programme.
- Ability to work and travel to various Saint Mary’s maternity sites; must be able to transport yourself across the area.
