Staff Nurse – Treatment Rooms

The Treatment Rooms service provides nursing care to all non‑housebound North Manchester adult residents. Responsibilities include wound care, lymphoedema/leg ulcer/podiatry management, catheter management, stoma management, administration of injections and post‑surgery wound care. The role supports the service lead and matron to deliver high‑standard care, working closely with Lymphoedema, District Nursing, Leg Ulcer, Tissue Viability, and podiatry services. In addition to clinical expertise, the nurse must be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, adaptable, well‑organised, and able to travel to various community locations.
Responsibilities- Provide wound care, including complex wounds.
- Manage lymphoedema, leg ulcer and podiatry treatments.
- Perform catheter and stoma management.
- Administer injections and post‑surgery wound care.
- Support the service lead and matron in delivering high‑standard care.
- Develop positive working relationships with Lymphoedema, District Nursing, Leg Ulcer, Tissue Viability and podiatry services.
- Travel to various community locations to deliver care.
- Registered with the NMC
- Relevant community nursing experience
- Experience in wound care
- Evidence of multi‑disciplinary team working
- Good team player
- UK driving licence and access to a car
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Mentoring experience/qualification
- Participation in audit/quality improvement

Salary: £32,073 to £39,043 per annum (pro rata)
